From a local in-house clinic in Alleppey to a state-of-the-art homeopathic clinic in Calicut, Kerala, Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic was and is an epitome of homeopathic medicine in Kerala.

Founded in 1920 by Dr. R. Kesava Panicker, the clinic has passed down many generations, who have consecutively nurtured and developed homeopathic treatments and pharmaceuticals. Dr. K. S. Prakasam, an eminent personality from the second generation of Doctor Prakasam Group, was the Founder Principal of the Government Homeopathic Medical College, Calicut and former Faculty Dean of Calicut University.

The Group’s third generation of homeopaths constituted of Late Dr. S. Vidya Prakash, Dr. S. Prem Prakash and Dr. Reena Prakash. The Late Dr. S. Vidya Prakash was an elected member of the Central Council of Homeopathy. The current generation of homeopathic doctors is headed by Dr. Raj Prakash A. V, Dr. Vidyalakshmi Prakash and Dr. Sreelakshmi Prakash. A century later, the ethics and principles still followed are those made iconic by Dr. R. Kesava Panicker.

Nestled in the heart of Calicut, Kerala, Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic was inaugurated on 25th August, 2008 by then Health Minister of Kerala, Mrs. Sreemathi Teacher. Spanning across 10,000 sq. ft. in 3 storeys, this specialised homeopathic medical centre serves over a hundred patients every day, treating illnesses from fever to the final stages of cancer, without steroids or toxicants, zero side effects and an impressively high success rate.

One of the very few institutions in the country to be recognised and approved by the Government of India as a Centre of Excellence in Homeopathy, Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic believes in treating the patient as a whole and not just the disease. The clinic also boasts of specialising in maternity management and provides a one-of-a-kind care system with in-house bedded facility for emergency cases and day care for short-time observations.

One of the most recognised and lauded homeopaths in South India, Late Dr. S. Vidya Prakash co-founded Dr. Prakasam Homoeopathic Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. (DPHP) and founded Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic. With over 35 years of celebrated expertise, the Former Medical Officer of the Department of Homeopathy, Government of Kerala, dedicated his entire life to homeopathy. In 1985, Dr. Vidya Prakash brought in advanced German technology to produce homeopathic medicines in Calicut at DPHP. With many honorary acclaims and titles, the respected physician had also received the Centre of Excellence from the Indian Government for his homeopathic clinic. He was also elected to the executive committee of Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH), Government of India. His renowned work is still spoken of today.

Nurturing his passion for homeopathy since his childhood, Dr. Raj Prakash first began working at his father’s practice by cleaning medicine bottles and preparing globules. Well-trained by Dr. S. Vidya Prakash, he now leads the Dr. Prakasam Group at its forefront, is Chief Consultant at the clinic and is Chairman and Managing Director at Doctor Prakasam Homeopathic Pharmaceuticals. Strongly believing that although homeopaths might fail, homeopathy never will, Dr. Raj Prakash aims to educate the world about the remarkable medical science and discover its endless possibilities.

She is now a professional homeopathy practitioner in UAE, is registered with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and is part of the Jupiter Speciality Medical Center Al Karama, Dubai. She is also a Senior Consultant at Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic.

A well-trained homeopath who graduated from Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Dr. Sreelakshmi Prakash is well-equipped with vast knowledge in nutrition, fitness and holistic medicine. She currently resides in Italy, where she reviews and consults all European cases of Dr. S. Vidya Prakash Homoeopathic Clinic. Dr. Sreelakshmi Prakash is known for her gentle and caring nature towards patients and is always willing to take up challenging cases.
